It's been a while......

Well, it's been a while and I've not been doing much except working.

Myself and the "boys" are going to the November Throne of Skulls but I am in a quandary over the army I should take. Because of this, I played a game with the girls. Their first in 6th Edition. I allied with guard and won versus Eldar.

The list was Saint, 2 sisters squads in rhinos, 2 exorcists, primaris psyker, vendetta, vet. Squad & 3 leman russ.

Not bad for a first outing, I held the relic, scored line breaker, first blood and 3 more VPs!

Life and Living

So, it has been fairly quit on te miniatures front. I have however won my first two games with my girls! Woo Hoo, go me!

The Dominions have stayed and so have the Exorcists and Retributors. All I've done is swap the Bus for St. Celestine & another Troop Squad. This will give me more Contesting/capturing power and with Celestine hopefully landing on the opponents objective & messing things up for them (What do you mean she got back up and contested your objective in the last turn......!).

I've cut down the Conclave (I don't think I will need that many and 1 Crusader per 2 Death Cult Assassins should be enough if needed), swapped the Dominion's Meltas for Flamers (as I think that the Multi-Meltas on the Immolators will pop any tanks & the girls can cleanse with fire) & given the Retributors a Simulacrum Imperialis for re-rolls of faith should it fail.
